Our monastic day follows a rhythm of prayer, work, meals, and rest, structured around the ancient practice of the Divine Office.
The day begins in silence as we prepare for morning prayer
Morning prayer - we greet the new day with psalms and hymns
The Eucharistic celebration, heart of our day
Simple meal taken in silence with spiritual reading
Manual labor, crafts, gardening, or assigned duties
Brief prayer to sanctify the middle of the day
Main meal of the day, followed by brief recreation
Sacred reading and personal prayer time
Continuation of morning work or study
Evening prayer - giving thanks for the day
Light evening meal
Community time or personal prayer
Night prayer - entrusting ourselves to God's care
Time for rest - silence maintained until morning
Note: The schedule may vary slightly on Sundays and major feast days. Visitors are welcome to join us for prayer times.
